Each copy of DUM DUM Issue No. 3 comes with a Dum Dum Pop inside. The raddest coincidence ever, since we recently discovered that our official logo illustrator, Hannah K. Lee, collects wrappers! Here’s a slideshow of her scans.
As you’ll notice on the final photo, the newer Dum Dum Pop wrappers have Facebook and Twitter icons…super awkward…
A note from Hannah: I collect Dum Dum wrappers. I like the simplicity of the little fruit/flavor icons, the patterns they form, and the boldness of the colors (each one uses 1-3 colors). Check out Steven Heller’s collection of Italian Fruit Wrappers, which nudged me to post my modest little collection of what I previously thought was an embarrassing trash stash.
